APLAW was founded in 2010 by the attorney-at-law Artur Piechocki, Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK - National Research Institute) long-standing lawyer, co-founder and president of the Internet Domains Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT), and the expert of the Ministry of Digital Affairs for the Internet of Things, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence working groups.

Artur Piechocki
Founder of the APLAW. Legal advisor registered to the list of the District Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Warsaw. The graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the postgraduate studies in Intellectual Property Law at the Jagiellonian University.
He specialises in the intellectual and industrial property law, information and communication technology (ICT) law, data protection and privacy and cyber security. He possess 20 years of experience in conducting legal audits and providing legal advice to the Polish and international companies, mainly from the IT, telecom and media sectors.
