Katarzyna Gorzkowska

A lawyer. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Lazarski University in Warsaw and postgraduate studies: European Union Law at the University of Warsaw, Personal Data Protection and Information Security Management at the Lazarski University, as well as Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics at the Lazarski University. She also graduated from the School of Intellectual Property Rights at the H. Grocjusz Intellectual Property Center (IP Center) in Warsaw. She participated in trainings in mediation, organisation management and CSR projects.

She specializes in the law of new technologies, personal data protection and privacy. She also provides legal assistance in intellectual property law, civil and commercial law. She advises business entities and NGOs. She also serves as a Data Protection Officer (DPO). She is involved in the implementation of projects in the areas of IoT, blockchain, data protection, and artificial intelligence.

She is the author of several dozen of scientific publications and articles in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Rzeczpospolita. Member of the ISSA Poland Association and of the working groups on the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity operating at the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
