On November 17, 2022, APLaw together with Puls Biznesu organized the conference “Disruptive Technology 2022 from the Business and Legal Perspectives,” held under the patronage of the Polish Chamber of Information Technologies and Telecommunications (PIIT).
Artur Piechocki presented a lecture titled “Changes on the Internet Advertising Market.”
The session covered:
- the impact of profiling on purchasing decisions,
- internet advertising models: traditional advertising vs. real-time bidding,
- roles of programmatic advertising participants (demand and supply side, controllers and processors),
- personal data processing in digital advertising ecosystems,
- user identifiers and tracking mechanisms,
- the “post-third-party cookies” landscape, including the IAB Europe decision and related developments,
- strategies of major online intermediaries.
Additionally, Katarzyna Gorzkowska presented a talk on blockchain and cryptocurrency trends, including NFT and metaverse developments, while Artur Piechocki also participated as a panelist in the discussion “Ups and Downs in New Technologies.”
