The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has continued to transform the way law firms, in-house legal departments and entire organisations operate. In this evolving landscape, events bringing together legal, technological and business perspectives have become increasingly important. One such forum was the „AI Legal Change Summit 2026: Revealing the Cards of AI”, organised by Wolters Kluwer Polska, where Attorney-at-Law Artur Piechocki participated as one of the speakers. The conference took place on 6 March 2026 in Warsaw.
The AI Legal Change Summit 2026 provided a platform for exchanging practical knowledge and real-world experience on how artificial intelligence is reshaping strategy, security and compliance. The programme included expert debates and panel discussions focused on real-life AI implementations, organisational liability and the practical challenges associated with using AI tools in everyday legal practice.
The conference was addressed to lawyers from law firms, corporations and public institutions, managing and senior partners, compliance officers and professionals responsible for technology implementation and risk management. It was designed for those who, in their daily work, faced the fundamental question of how to use AI wisely, safely and in full compliance with the law.
Artur Piechocki participated in the panel discussion entitled „Security, Liability, Reliability”, held from 12:00 to 13:30. The discussion addressed the first disputes arising from the use of AI, the risks associated with so-called hallucinations of language models, the impact of AI on organisational liability, and whether a complete ban on AI use genuinely mitigated risk. The panel also explored the key features of reliable AI tools for lawyers and considered whether businesses should already prepare for litigation related to AI deployment.
The panel was moderated by Maria Dymitruk. Other participants included Katarzyna Irytowska, Joanna Kieszek and Zbigniew Okoń.
The conference created an opportunity for professionals interested in better understanding both the risks and opportunities associated with AI in legal practice and organisational operations to confront regulatory requirements with practical examples and prepare for challenges already shaping the legal services market.
The event also served as a prelude to the 8th edition of Legal Hackathon 2026, another initiative organised by Wolters Kluwer Polska. The hackathon followed an intensive project-based format, bringing together lawyers, LegalTech enthusiasts and IT experts to develop practical technological solutions supporting the judiciary, law firms, the education sector and businesses. The 2026 edition was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Polish Bar Council and the National Chamber of Legal Advisers.
As part of our AI practice, we supported clients in the secure implementation of AI-based solutions, regulatory risk assessments, development of internal policies and alignment of organisational processes with EU law requirements, including the AI Act. Our experience gained through projects across multiple sectors enabled us to combine regulatory insight with business and technological realities.
