Lectures by Artur Piechocki as part of the 7th edition of the Cybersecurity Law School at Kozminski University

There has been a growing demand for practical expertise effectively combining law, technology, and the operational realities of cybersecurity within organisations. Responding to these needs, the 7th edition of the Cybersecurity Law School – Legal and Technical Aspects of Cybersecurity, organised by Kozminski University, took place with the participation of Artur Piechocki as a member of the faculty.

The Cybersecurity Law School offered a unique educational programme providing a comprehensive and practice-oriented approach that integrated legal issues with the technical dimensions of cybersecurity.

The course was designed for lawyers, managers, IT specialists, compliance, risk and security professionals, as well as individuals responsible for implementing and overseeing cybersecurity systems within organisations, particularly those operating in regulated sectors.

The programme covers, among others:

• current and upcoming cybersecurity regulations (including the amendment to the Polish National Cybersecurity System Act, NIS2, DORA, CRA, and AI-related regulations),
• practical aspects of cybersecurity governance and ICT risk management,
• organisational and management liability,
• contracting cybersecurity services and cooperation with technology providers,
• cybercrime, cyber warfare and advanced persistent threats (APT),
• sector-specific requirements for the financial sector, healthcare, and AI systems.

The classes are delivered by experienced practitioners—legal professionals and technical experts—and are distinguished by a problem-driven, hands-on approach, based on real-life cases and challenges faced by organisations in practice.
