6th New Technology Law Conference with Artur Piechocki

On October 17–18, 2024, Warsaw hosted one of Poland’s largest cybersecurity events. Artur Piechocki was among the experts and speakers at this prominent conference.
Artur Piechocki delivered a lecture entitled “New developments in cyber law: NIS2, KSC2, DORA [Cyber market and new regulations]”. During his talk, he addressed how entrepreneurs should prepare for key challenges in the cyber environment, including topics such as:
- the extension of the scope of entities and further obligations under the new legislation,
- supply chain security,
- risk management,
- high penalties.
His presentation took place on 18 October 2024 at 10:35–11:10 a.m. as part of the Focus On The Market: Ransomware, Audit, Data Protection and AI Related Services (Onsite) track, live at PGE Narodowe – location P2L1 (Paris 1).
The event was held in three formats: online, VoD, and in-person at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. It brought together leading professionals from across the IT and cybersecurity sectors, including legislative representatives, executives, lawyers, compliance specialists, IT risk and audit professionals, as well as developers, architects, and testers.
The conference covered a broad range of cybersecurity topics, including attack and defense strategies, software development security, privacy, risk management, oversight, and compliance. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in discussions on trends, explore case studies, and network both online and in person.
The event was organized by the Academic Partners Foundation and the Cyber Defense Component Command.
